Ashton Care is a CQC registered supported Living provider with 4 bedroom supported facility, 3 en-suite and 2 communal bathrooms, The property consists of 6 bedrooms with a drive that has space for 3/4 cars, the facility has a large park located across the road. We are only taking 4 residents with 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 support. We are specialised as an organisation providing supported living for clients that have severely challenging behaviour, self-harm with mental health conditions, and Learning disabilities & forensic care needs. We are proudly providing personal care service registered with CQC for the last 12 years, we have all the necessary safety facilities available including a fire alarm in each room connected to a central fire assembly point, all Fire Safety Certification is up to date. Due to the provision of care for the vulnerable, we have installed fire doors in every room. We have sensory room facilities with playroom, activity areas. We highly skilled and highly trained staff who can only work with those specific needs service users.

Mental Health
Ashton Care offer Mental Health service in our Barking placements, we are providing high Dependency Rehabilitation Services. Our mission is to combine the skills of our experienced teams with a commitment to providing high quality, cost effective services without compromising on quality of care. We adopt a positive and pro-active approach to care which recognises the changing needs of each individual; we are committed to observing “least restrictive practices” and will consistently seek to move individuals through their care pathway towards greater independence, as soon as it is safe to do so. Our models of care focuses on re-enablement, positive risk-taking, therapeutic optimisation, relapse prevention, personalisation, enhancing quality of life, fostering confidence and self-esteem and using creative and flexible approaches to engagement. Our supported living provide a structured environment for individuals who present with a diverse range of complex needs and behaviour that are likely to challenge and we recognise the importance of creating an environment that promotes rehabilitation and recovery. We believe community integration is pre requisite to the success of rehabilitation and recovery, therefore; we work hard to offer a variety of internal and external meaningful occupational and social activities. Our inpatient services provide competent and qualified multidisciplinary teams that work collaboratively to develop bespoke care plans centred on the needs, challenges and aspirations of each individual. Patients are risk assessed to establish whether they are able to access the community with or without support, however regardless of their legal status, we believe they should benefit from local utilities and enjoy a range of social, recreational and occupational opportunities
LEARNING DISABILITY: The service is operated for men presenting with a Learning Disability, associated complex needs, challenging behaviours and secondary diagnosis of Mental Health. Our supported living is dedicated to supporting the needs and wellbeing of individuals with a range of complex care needs, behaviours that can challenge services and in some cases present with risks that require a more robust community placement. Ashton care placement offers an environment that provides spacious modern amenities, specially adapted open communal spaces and direct access to secure landscaped external gardens and grounds. We encourage our Service Users to personalise their bedrooms with rooms offering en-suite bathrooms including access to shared assisted bathrooms where required. Staff are dedicated to supporting our Service Users by organising activities into rewarding routines which are important to our Service Users health and wellbeing. All of our Service Users meet with their key workers on a weekly basis to plan individualised activity schedules, staff will also choose activities with our Service Users and match their interests to improve their motivation as well as independence

The right support to step down from hospital or avoid the risk of admission
We can provide bespoke support for people with a learning disability and/or autism who have a range of additional needs including mental health conditions, highly challenging behaviours; we are committed to the delivery of person-centred, flexible support that promotes choice and control. This is reflected in our five values, which align closely with the Transforming Care National Service Model.
We work closely with the people we support and their support network, so they can successfully return to their communities from secure and inpatient settings.
We have developed preventative solutions for people at risk of hospital admission in conjunction with Transforming Care Partnerships.
We work with local partners to develop and deliver transition plans that clearly meet the needs of the individual and promote positive risk management.
We provide support for people at high risk of hospital admission
• Our Intensive support, delivered by very highly skilled teams in a safely and suitable setting.
• We ensure that preventative interventions are always being offered to the residents.
• We also work in partnership so that residents can return to their previous settings or alternative solutions when required.
As a supported living with a Registered private nursing and domiciliary care provider, we can confirm that we have available staff who is fully hospices trained, learning disabilities, mental health trained care staff is ready to start with immediate effect. They are also multilingual who can speak Bengali Sylheti, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and some African languages.
Each new referral we get, we do our own assessment and identify the needs of the service user and try minimising all possible risks of hazards, and we then provide the care worker who will suit this particular client. We also trained the care worker around each individual client's needs; our robust recruitment team is able to recruit targeted care workers with specific care skills, kindness with good communication skills.
